What People Frequently Asked to us

1

What is Zkrilla Boost

Zkrilla Boost is a product we developed to help increase credit scores FAST. We also enhance this process through successful recurring payments. Zkrilla Boost is not a credit card!

2

I dont see my utillities or subscriptions showing up

We will report positive credit history for you even if you do not have subscriptions or utilities! In addition, utilities and subscriptions may take a few business days to show up. If you are on our base membership tier, we only show your payments going forward. Upgrade your membership if you want more perks and bill history to instantly boost your credit score. If you still do not see your utility, feel free to reach out to support. We're constantly improving our ability to automatically recognize utilities and subscriptions. We can manually add a payment if necessary.

3

What payments qualify for boosting my score

Utilities (water bill, electricity bill, cable, gas bill, etc). Subscriptions (Netflix, Hulu, Spotify, etc). But not limited to these! Gym memberships, Rent, Car Insurance payments, and more.

4

How long does it take to report

For the base membership, we report every month. For higher membership tiers, we will expedite your reporting to boost your credit accordingly.

5

How much will my credit score go up

This depends on multiple factors outside of Zkrilla Boost; however we have had users boost over 150 points! Depending on your membership tier, you will see different levels of positive impact on your credit score.

6

How will this impact my credit report

Zkrilla Boost analyzes your bill payments on your behalf and will report a single line of credit. Depending on what bureau report you are looking at, it may show up as a credit card in order to directly help your credit. In addition, your membership tier and your bill payments will determine the length of positive history and credit limit reported!

7

Why should I want my property manager to report my rent to the credit bureaus?

For most residents, rent is the largest monthly payment. Every resident should be getting credit for paying rent on time and be rewarded by having that payment improve their credit score. Rent is one of the fastest ways to increase a credit score, with an average increase above 40 points and some as high as 100 points depending on where an individual is in the FICO scoring matrix. This translates into additional financial freedom for the resident. A higher credit score can result in lower interest rates for a loan (e.g. car, home), additional qualifications for credit cards, higher limits on credit cards, and lower insurance rates. A higher credit score can even help get a job, as it is viewed as an element of risk to an employer.

8

Why hasn’t my credit score changed when I check it online?

CredHub submits to the bureaus at the beginning of each month the previous month's rental payments. The bureaus process the file, which can take up to ten days. Credit score websites such as Credit Karma and FreeCreditScore.com are delayed several weeks in obtaining new information. A credit report drawn directly from the credit bureaus will reflect new payment information within a few days. On average, residents see their scores impacted in the first three to six months.

9

I have never had a late payment, so why has my credit score dropped?

Since this is the first-time credit bureaus have seen payment history for rent, it is viewed as new debt. Like buying a new house or car, the credit score may see a slight drop initially however, it will level out and increase as more on-time payments are made.

10

What happens if my payment history is submitted incorrectly?

CredHub handles all questions and disputes with your residents. We have an all access website at www.credhub.com, can be reached by phone at 1-833-888-2733, or by email at [email protected]. If a correction may be needed on information that was inadvertently submitted to the credit bureaus, we will handle resolution for the resident.

11

How does CredHub report our residents’ payment data?

CredHub seamlessly and securely extracts the data each month. We upload it to our portal, where all you need to do each month is review it. It takes less than 15 minutes per month. After you have reviewed the data, the information is automatically transformed into each bureau’s proprietary format and reported to the credit bureaus. For more information, please review the How It Works page.

12

Does CredHub work with my property management system?

The CredHub platform is flexible, scalable, and can work with any property management system. We can even work with Excel spreadsheets if there is no rent roll system.

13

To which credit bureaus does CredHub report?

CredHub is credentialed to report to Equifax and TransUnion. Critical to CredHub helping reduce payment delinquency for property managers is reporting late and skipped payments. Both Equifax and TransUnion accept late and skipped payments as a factor in resident credit scores.

16

What is the FCRA?

The Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) is a federal law that regulates the collection of consumers' credit information and access to their credit reports. It was passed in 1970 to ensure fairness, accuracy, and privacy of personal information contained in credit reporting agencies' files. CredHub is FCRA compliant.

17

Has COVID-19 impacted the reporting of rent payments?

CredHub monitors all reporting recommendations provided by the Consumer Data Industry Association (CDIA) and interpreted by Equifax and TransUnion. These reporting guidelines align with Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) changes and comply with Federal and State eviction moratoriums.

  • If a payment is made, the financially responsible party receives positive payment credit.

  • If a payment is delinquent, it is added as a neutral in the monthly remark category, meaning it does not negatively impact the credit score. However, no credit will be given for unpaid rent.

  • Post-pandemic, there will be an option for negative reporting, which will impact an individual’s credit to ensure rent remains a priority.

18

What data security measures does CredHub take to protect personal information?

CredHub’s end-to-end platform leverages:

  • 256-bit Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) algorithm with CBC mode.

  • 128-bit randomized initialization vector (IV) for field-level data encryption.

  • Real-time audit logs tracking key changes to sensitive information, including date, time, and nature of change.

Our service agreement guarantees that while we have access to sensitive materials, we will not store, sell, or distribute them outside of CredHub and its processing partners.

19

What if a resident is on a payment plan or owes very little?

Our flexible platform allows property management companies to:

  • Choose the monthly pull date.

  • Set a threshold amount for negative reporting.

  • For example, you can elect not to report anyone negatively if they owe less than $100.

With just a few clicks in our portal, you can exclude residents from negative reporting, even if they owe more than the configured threshold.

20

What if there is a resident problem or complaint?

CredHub handles all questions and disputes directly with your residents.

If an incorrect report is submitted to the credit bureaus, we will work directly with the resident to resolve the issue.
